Why is the crypto market soaring today? XRP Price Reaches $3, ETH Soars 

The cryptocurrency market is seeing a steady rally today, with major coins rising in price. The total market cap has risen to around $3.83 trillion in the last 24 hours, up 2.75%. Ethereum has also made headlines, jumping nearly 6% in a single day. It is currently trading at $3,821, with a market cap of $461 billion. Experts are expecting a possible breakout above $4,000, which could lead to a rally to $4,400 and beyond. 

One of the biggest news stories of the day is related to Ripple. Ripple has agreed to acquire stablecoin platform Rail for $200 million. The move is seen as part of Ripple’s broader push into stablecoins and payment infrastructure.  Following the news, XRP has jumped more than 3% in 24 hours and is currently trading at $3.04.

Some analysts believe this could lead to further gains in XRP, especially if the acquisition leads to new partnerships or regulatory clarity.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $116,474, up nearly 2%. Despite its slower growth rate compared to altcoins, Bitcoin remains a strong performer with a market cap of over $2.3 trillion. A clean break above $120,000 could attract new buying interest.

Other leading altcoins are also starting to rally in the market. Solana has risen to $170, Dogecoin is currently above $0.21, and Cardano is trading at $0.76. Sui has jumped to $3.72, and Chainlink is holding at $17.62, up 7% today. 

The Fear and Greed Index is at 54, indicating neutral sentiment. However, growing interest in altcoins is pushing the Altcoin Season Index to 36, indicating that more traders are exploring tokens beyond Bitcoin.
