Итальянская банковская группа Banca Sella Holding SpA запустила внутреннее пилотное тестирование сервиса хранения цифровых активов, включая стейблкоины. Об этом сообщает Bloomberg со ссылкой на осведомленные источники.

Для реализации инициативы Sella сотрудничает с технологической компанией Fireblocks. Пока что цифровые активы могут хранить только отдельные специалисты внутри группы, однако в перспективе банк может открыть эту услугу и для клиентов, сообщили источники.

По словам одного из источников, группа Sella пока не намерена запускать услугу по торговле криптовалютами, в частности биткоином. Дальнейшие шаги определят после завершения пилотного проекта, вероятно, во второй половине лета.

В Bloomberg отметили, что банки по всей Европе находятся на разных стадиях внедрения цифровых активов в свою деятельность.
