Необычные транзакции со стороны Tapioca DAO заметили специалисты по безопасности блокчейнов Cyvers Alert. Адрес Tapioca DAO был скомпрометирован, и хакер смог взять под контроль контракт на вестинг. Взломщик вывел 21 млн TAP, активировав экстренное восстановление протокола. После перевода криптоактивов на новый адрес, злоумышленник обменял их на 591 ETH.

Затем хакер перевел эфиры в сеть BNB Chain с помощью сервиса Stargate Finance. Аналитики выяснили, что на адресе злоумышленника также находятся стейблкоины BSC-USD и USDC на сумму около $4,7 млн. Поэтому исследователи пришли к выводу, что это мог быть уже не первый эксплойт со стороны хакера.

Отметим, что с помощью токенов управления TAP пользователи могут участвовать в голосованиях по обновлению протокола, влиять на структуры комиссий и принимать участие в других важных решениях, связанных с Tapioca DAO. В сентябре хакерской атаке подвергся протокол рестейкинга биткоина Bedrock — платформа потеряла криптоактивы на $2 млн. В мае криптокредитор Sonne Finance тоже стал жертвой эксплойта, лишившись $20 млн.
