Представитель Nexo рассказал, что новый процесс регистрации на платформе теперь соответствует рекомендациям FCA. Инвесторы теперь лучше осведомлены о рисках инвестиций в криптовалюты.

«Мы понимаем, что, прежде чем взаимодействовать с нашей платформой, пользователей нужно предупредить о рисках. Помимо предупреждения, пользователям предоставляется период, в течение которого они могут обдумать и оценить свою инвестиционную стратегию. Это соответствует требованиям FCA», — объяснил представитель Nexo.

Nexo приостановил регистрацию новых пользователей из Великобритании в декабре. Ради того, чтобы подстроиться под требования FCA, в октябре 2023 года Nexo начал поэтапно прекращать оказание некоторых услуг в Великобритании: криптокредитор остановил выплаты кешбэка для Nexo Exchange и Nexo Card, закрыл реферальные и партнерские программы.

Nexo — не единственная криптофирма, столкнувшаяся с трудностями в Великобритании. В июле FCA оштрафовало американскую криптобиржу Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) на $4,5 млн за обслуживание клиентов с высоким уровнем риска.
