Türkiye's Paribu is acquiring CoinMENA, with the deal valued at up to $240 million.

Turkish digital asset platform Paribu announced the acquisition of the largest local cryptocurrency exchange in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, CoinMENA, with a transaction valuation of up to 240 million USD. Through this acquisition, Paribu will expand from the Turkish domestic market to the MENA region, which has a higher cryptocurrency adoption rate, and obtain two valid digital asset licenses issued by the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) and the Central Bank of Bahrain.
