I. Project Introduction
1. What Is Avantis?
Avantis is a derivatives exchange deployed on the Base chain and the largest decentralized exchange (DEX) for both real-world assets (RWAs) and crypto assets. It offers trading of synthetic assets (such as forex, indices, commodities, etc.), supports zero-fee perpetuals (ZFP) where users only pay fees when they make profits. By retaining the ownership of assets, and with high leverage and multi-asset support, Avantis realizes the vision of a “universal leverage layer”.
2. How Does Avantis Work?
Synthetic asset trading: Users can trade synthetics including cryptocurrencies, forex, commodities directly from their wallets, without needing to bridge or deposit underlying assets first.
Universal leverage mechanism: Very high leverage is supported: up to 500× for crypto, and up to 1000× for forex.
Rebate incentives: Traders who lose may get rebates up to 20% of losses to allow them to re-trade. Also, traders who reduce imbalances in open interest may get “positive slippage” as a reward.
Dynamic risk engine for LPs: Liquidity providers are supported via a risk management mechanism that works under different market regimes.
$AVNT token: As the core token for protocol governance, incentive distribution, and community development, it drives decentralization of the ecosystem.
3. Who Founded Avantis?
Founding team: co-led by Harsehaj Singh and Raymond Dong with experience in Pantera Capital, Lazard, McKinsey and Bow Capital.
The team has successfully completed various funding rounds:
Seed funding (September 26, 2023): raised $4 million with participation from Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Galaxy.
Series A (June 3, 2025): raised $8 million with investors including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund, Symbolic Capital and others.

Circulating Supply: Approximately 205,000,000 (about 20.5% of total supply)

Airdrop: 12.5%, rewarded to users via XP or trading behavior in the early period of the Token Generation Event (TGE).
Liquidity & Future On-Chain Activities: 28.6%, used to support long-term ecosystem development and market depth.
Quackers Community Rewards: 0.15% of the total supply, given back to top community contributors.
5. Timeline of Key Milestones
On June 3, 2025 – Series A funding completed, raising $8 million.
From September 7- September 9, 2025 - AVNT airdrop live; available to claim on the first day.
