What is EthereumPoW (ETHW)

1. Project Introduction EthereumPoW (ETHW) is the Proof-of-Work (PoW) fork of Ethereum that remained after The Merge. Following Ethereum's transition to Proof-of-Stake (PoS), this project continues the original work-based consensus route. It retains the Ethereum account model, EVM compatibility, and mining-based block production, serving as a public chain that preserves the original PoW mechanism. 2. Operating Mechanism EthereumPoW continues to employ the PoW mining mechanism, where miners are responsible for packaging transactions and maintaining network security. The network maintains EVM compatibility, allowing original Ethereum development tools and contract frameworks to be used on ETHW. According to the initial official release, the project removed the difficulty bomb and modified the EIP-1559 fee mechanism. The base fee is redirected to a multi-signature address jointly managed by miners and the community, rather than being burned as on the Ethereum mainnet. The ETHW mainnet chain ID is 10001. 3.
