That’s stellar returns, as not every asset is capable of delivering double-digit gains in the market. Amazon stock is among the most sought-after equities and is among the market leaders in the AI segment. K33 says Strategy's STRC preferred stock may be fueling recurring mid-month Bitcoin buying spikes. Research firm K33 says Strategy's perpetual preferred stock, STRC, is the likely driver behind the stronger mid-month Bitcoin (BTC) performance observed in March and April 2026.

Head of Research Vetle Lunde outlined the mechanism in a report published May 13. STRC distributes dividends on the last day of each month, but eligibility for those payouts is determined by the ex-dividend date on the 15th. That structure creates a predictable window of heightened investor demand in the days leading up to the cut-off each month.

Renowned cryptocurrency strategist Arthur Hayes made striking statements about macroeconomic data and global liquidity flows during a live broadcast. Describing Bitcoin’s current state as a “newly emerging bull market,” Hayes claimed investors should be prepared for the $126,000 level.

At the heart of Hayes’s rise thesis are the credit creation processes of central banks and commercial banks. Hayes specifically noted that the Artificial Intelligence (AI) competition between the US and China requires a massive expenditure of capital (CapEx).

Hayes argued that “if Google or Chinese giants run out of cash for the AI race, banks will step in under ‘national security’ pressure from governments, and this abundance of liquidity will flow directly into assets with limited supply, such as Bitcoin.”
