Bitcoin Magazine tweeted that an independent miner with a hashrate of about 1 PH received a block reward of 6.25 BTC (worth over $160,000). Typically, for a miner with this level of hashrate, it takes an average of 7 years to create a valid transaction and receive a block reward at the current mining difficulty.
