FTX's new CEO is paid $1,300 an hour

FTX’s new CEO, John J. Ray III, is paid $1,300 an hour, according to filings in the Delaware bankruptcy court. According to the documents, The services of John J. Ray III are retained pursuant to a letter of engagement (CEO letter of engagement) between Owl Hill Advisory, LLC and the debtor. Under the terms of the CEO letter of engagement, Owl Hill will provide Ray Services as the Debtor's Chief Executive Officer, but Mr. Ray will remain an employee of Owl Hill. Under the CEO Engagement Letter, the Debtor will pay the current rate of $1,300 per hour.
