The report states, 'The senior U.S. official indicated that Trump will meet with Zelensky this Wednesday to discuss how we can end this war.' Following the talks with Zelensky, Trump is likely to have a phone call with Putin. Trump is eager to push for a swift resolution to the conflict. Russian presidential aide Ushakov previously stated that during a phone call with Trump, Putin expressed Russia's readiness to resolve the Ukraine conflict through diplomatic means based on proposals put forth by Russia.
