But failed requests often reveal something else. Capacity exists, just not in the combination the workload needs at that moment.
The more I look at it, the less this feels like an infrastructure scaling problem and the more it feels like a coordination problem. Models, hardware, verification paths, and incentives all have to align simultaneously.
At scale, participation stops being a headcount metric and starts becoming a coverage metric. A network can look distributed while still sharing the same hidden dependencies.
