On June 24, a Reuters/Ipsos poll revealed that only a quarter of Americans believe the cost of war with Iran is justified, and most are concerned that a truce with Tehran will not last. The five-day poll, which concluded on Monday, also showed that this conflict has severely impacted Trump's approval rating, which has dropped to 34%, returning to the lowest level of his second term. This level was last seen in an April poll. The survey indicated that only 24% of Americans think the cost of war with Iran is worth it. Half of the respondents stated that the conflict is not worth the cost, while the rest expressed uncertainty. Approximately 63% of Americans believe that the agreement signed by Trump is unlikely to lead to lasting peace between the two countries.
