To optimize the product and to provide users with better trading experience, HTX Futures will officially launch Bi-quarterly futures contracts at 14:00 on June 15, 2020 (GMT+8).

After the launch of Bi-quarterly futures, there will be four types of futures contracts with different expiry periods: Weekly, Bi-weekly, Quarterly, and Bi-quarterly. 

A Bi-quarterly futures is generated on the third Friday from the last of each quarter month (March, June, September, December) and expires on the last Friday of a half-year. When a new Bi-quarterly futures is generated, the original Bi-quarterly futures will be converted to a quarterly futures which expires on the last Friday of the next quarter.

After the settlement is completed at 16:00 on June 12, 2020 (GMT+8), new quarterly futures and Bi-quarterly futures will be generated. At that time the futures available will be:

Weekly futures contracts: the expiry date is June 19, 2020

Bi-weekly futures contracts: the expiry date is June 26, 2020

Quarterly futures contracts: the expiry date is September 25, 2020

Bi-quarterly futures contracts: the expiry date is December 25, 2020

After the launch of Bi-quarterly futures contracts, the newly generated Bi-quarterly futures contracts will officially open to trade at 14:00 on June 15, 2020 (GMT+8).
