I. Available Leverage for New Users During Order Placement by KYC Level

Users who have not completed level 2 KYC verification are limited to a maximum leverage of 5x for Futures trading. To access leverage higher than 5x, please complete level 2 or higher KYC verification.

II. API Order Placement Permissions Based on KYC Level

Users who have not completed KYC verification, or who have only completed level 1 KYC verification, will be unable to place futures orders via the API. API trading functionality will be granted upon successful completion of level 2 or higher KYC verification.

Notes:

1. Sub-accounts inherit the KYC level of their main account. Accordingly, API futures trading restrictions and available leverage for sub-accounts are the same as those of the main account.

2. These updates apply to standard futures trading and Futures Copy Trading. Trading Bots are unaffected and will continue to follow existing rules.

3. These updates do not affect current holdings, historical orders, or the ability to close or reduce positions. Only new position openings and leverage adjustments are subject to the new rules.

4. For API users unable to place futures orders under the new rules:

• Existing positions and open orders will not be affected, and order cancellation remains available.
• In hedge mode, new closing orders are supported. In one-way mode, new reduce-only orders are permitted. For all other order types, the system will prompt the user to complete account verification.
• New open-position orders, add-to-position orders, and reverse position orders cannot be placed. The system will prompt users to complete account verification upon order submission.
• Leverage adjustments cannot be made. The system will prompt the user to complete account verification.
  
  

5. For API users whose available leverage is capped at 5x or below:

• Existing positions and open orders will not be affected, and order cancellation remains available.
• In hedge mode, new close-position orders are supported. In one-way mode, new reduce-only orders are supported. If an order is not reduce-only and the leverage exceeds 5x, the system will prompt the user to complete account verification.
• If a new open-position or add-to-position order is placed with leverage exceeding 5x, the system will first prompt the user to complete account verification.
• If leverage is adjusted above 5x, the system will prompt the user to complete account verification.

 

6. For users whose available leverage is capped at 5× or below in Futures Copy Trading:

• If a lead trader opens a position with leverage exceeding 5× and the follower has selected “Sync with Lead Trader” in the leverage configuration, followers who have not completed level 2 KYC verification will be unable to match the higher leverage. In such cases, the system will automatically execute the trade using the follower's maximum available leverage (5×).

• When a lead trader opens a position with leverage exceeding 5×, followers who have not completed level 2 KYC verification may be unable to copy the trade.

To avoid the aforementioned issues, please complete the higher-level KYC verification in a timely manner.
