«Стабильная монета» в конце марта утратила паритет с долларом. 18 апреля курс sUSD обвалился до локального минимума в $0,68. На момент написания котировки восстановились до $0,77 (CoinGecko).

Обеспечением при выпуске «синтетического стейблкоина» выступают заблокированные в стейкинге SNX.

В Synthetix объяснили текущую волатильность sUSD имплементацией SIP-420. Обновление перенесло долговые риски со стейкеров на сам протокол.

18 апреля команда проекта запустила решение 420 Pool. Механизм позволяет заблокировать на год sUSD для получения вознаграждения в SNX.

Уорвик признал, что пользовательский интерфейс механизма пока «очень ручной». Он ожидает, что разработчики его усовершенствуют в течение нескольких дней. После этого основатель Synthetix намерен оценить динамику депега sUSD и, если монета не восстановится к доллару, усилить давление на пользователей пула.

«Это вполне решаемо, и это ответственность стейкеров SNX. Мы не предпринимали ничего, что не сработало бы, теперь мы попробовали морковку, и она вроде как подействовала, но я воздержусь от суждений. Он подчеркнул, что чистая стоимость SNX в стейкинге составляет «несколько миллиардов», поэтому «деньги на решение проблемы есть», и просто нужна настройка стимулов.

Касательно 420 Pool один из комментаторов отметил:

«Только пробежался по механике, так что не стесняйтесь меня учить. Но привязывать стейблкоин к любому токену — это экономика типа “поверь мне, братан”. На достаточно длительном таймфрейме она сломается».

По его мнению, предложенное «крайне незрелое» решение для поддержания стабильности sUSD вызывает «тревогу и негатив».

Напомним, в Standard Chartered спрогнозировали рост совокупной капитализации стейблкоинов до ~$2 трлн к 2028 году.
