Протокол был запущен в 2022 году, обещая максимизировать процентные ставки для пользователей с помощью Morpho Optimizer, слоя оптимизации поверх Aave и Compound. С тех пор Morpho перешел от одного приложения к набору специально разработанных протоколов, которые работают поверх общего базового слоя, стремясь решить проблему фрагментации в экосистеме Ethereum.
