SkyCapital has announced the development of a partnership direction for crypto services against the backdrop of tightening regulations in 2026. The company has begun offering market participants its infrastructure for transitioning from anonymous P2P transfers to a more open and transparent operational model. According to Dmitry Galkin, Managing Director of SkyCapital.Group, this decision was a response to changes within the industry itself.
"The idea of sharing our own developments was born at the moment when it became clear: the market is changing rapidly, not everyone will remain in it. We saw a demand that had long been accumulating between services and regulators. One part of the participants is already ready to switch to white-label settlements and offer users legally safe transactions instead of anonymous transfers. The other part is also moving in this direction because very soon the choice will be simple: either restructure or close down," stated Dmitry Galkin.
The new cooperation model suggests that partners can retain their brand and customer interface, while SkyCapital provides the infrastructure part for 'white-label' operations: SBP-acquiring, trade execution, KYC/AML checks, Antifraud protection, and reporting documents. For the market, this means the ability to transition faster to working under a more transparent scheme without the costs of independently developing the entire system from scratch.
"After the law comes into force on September 1, exchangers without KYC, AML, antifraud, and SBP-acquiring will be able to operate under the old model only during a transitional period. Afterwards, it will be necessary to adopt the new rules. The market is moving away from anonymous transfers and manual schemes towards safe operations, where each transaction undergoes checks, is documented, and remains transparent for the bank. Participants lacking such infrastructure will face not just blockages, payment restrictions, and an inability to scale their business, but also risks of criminal and administrative prosecution," said Dmitry Galkin.
The company believes that the crypto market is entering a stage where competition between services is gradually being supplemented by partnership. If previously, industry participants mainly competed for the same user, now gaining access to reliable infrastructure, which allows compliance with new requirements and reduces operational, regulatory, and reputational risks, is becoming increasingly important.
For SkyCapital itself, this means an expansion of its role in the market. The company is developing not only its own platform but also a direction oriented towards other services that need a ready-made technological and compliance base. Such a step reflects a broader process in the industry. The crypto business in Russia is gradually shifting from fragmented models towards collaboration around safe and formalized solutions.
