Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, has announced the delisting of six trading pairs with the aim of improving market conditions and concentrating liquidity into a smaller number of trading pairs. No additional details were provided regarding the reasons for the delisting.
According to a statement from Coinbase Markets, trading for the pairs LSETH-ETH, $MINA-EUR, $GRT-GBP, $MASK-GBP, $CHZ-$USDT, and $CRO-$USDT will cease on August 6, 2026.
The exchange announced that support for the underlying assets will continue, but the specified trading pairs will no longer be available. Users of Coinbase Advanced Trade in the relevant regions will still be able to buy and sell these assets through order books denominated in U.S. dollars.
The exchange also announced that the trading pairs $MINA-EUR, $GRT-GBP, $MASK-GBP, $CHZ-$USDT, and $CRO-$USDT have already been moved to 'limit-only' mode on the Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Advanced platforms.
In this mode, users can create limit orders, cancel existing orders, and receive quotes at suitable prices. However, market orders for these trading pairs cannot be placed.
