2. How Does Haedal Work? Users stake their SUI tokens, and in return, they receive haSUI, allowing them to continue participating in DeFi activities for additional yield. In addition to the liquid staking protocol, Haedal is building a suite of products, including Haedal Market Maker, which generates continuous additional on-chain yield for Haedal and its LST ecosystem. haToken, an abbreviation for Haedal staking token, is obtained by users when they stake SUI or WAL via Haedal's liquid staking infrastructure. This haToken is a yield-generating asset representing the user's stake within Haedal and a proportional share of the total liquid staked value. As the staking pool consistently accrues validator rewards for safeguarding the Sui network, the value of the haToken (be it haSUI or haWAL) will increase in relation to SUI or WAL. Notably, haToken will preserve all key functionalities of SUI and will be usable across the Sui ecosystem.
