HTX to Update Leverage Rules for Its Futures Copy Trading Services

Dear HTX Users,
HTX has updated the maximum allowable leverage for newly registered users participating in Futures Copy Trading. Please see the details below.
I. For Newly Registered Lead Traders
1) Users with level 1 KYC verification and unverified users: Maximum allowable leverage is capped at 20× (inclusive).
2) Users with level 1 institutional verification and unverified institutional users: Maximum allowable leverage is capped at 20× (inclusive).
II. For All API Lead Traders
1) Unverified users, users with level 1 KYC verification, and users with level 1 institutional verification: API order placement and leverage adjustments are prohibited.
2) Users with level 2 KYC verification and those with level 2 institutional verification: Maximum allowable leverage is capped at 20× (inclusive).
III. For Newly Registered Followers
1) Users with level 1 KYC verification and unverified users: Maximum allowable leverage is capped at 20× (inclusive).
2) Users with level 2 & 3 KYC verification: The maximum allowable leverage is not subject to additional limits.
Notes
1. These rule changes apply only to new position openings and leverage adjustments. Open positions and historical orders of existing users are not affected; position closing and reduction operations will continue as normal.
2. If a lead trader opens a position with leverage exceeding the limit allowed by a follower’s verification tier, the follower may experience copy trading failures.
3. For the maximum allowable leverage on each trading pair, please refer to the trading page for details.
To ensure a smooth trading experience, please complete the required level of KYC verification at your earliest convenience.
