Нелегального майнера, подключившего десятки устройств для добычи криптовалюты в обход счетчика, задержала полиция

Незаконная майнинг-ферма была обнаружена в подсобном помещении промзоны города Карабулака в Ингушетии. Как сообщили в МВД, ущерб от ее работы превысил 2 млн руб.

47-летний житель с.п. Кантышево незаконно подключил ферму к электросети. В рамках оперативно-профилактического мероприятия это выявила полиция.

На объекте обнаружили 65 устройств для майнинга и два роутера. Правоохранители выяснили, что оборудование было подключено к трансформаторной подстанции в обход приборов учета.

По сообщению полиции, оборудование работало около полутора месяцев — с начала апреля по середину мая. Убытки энергокомпании от незаконного подключения за этот срок оцениваются более чем в 2,34 млн руб.

Организатора фермы задержала полиция. В отношении него возбуждено уголовное дело по ч. 1 ст. 165 УК РФ (причинение имущественного ущерба путем обмана или злоупотребления доверием).

Ингушетия входит в список регионов России, где майнинг запрещен полностью до весны 2031 года. Добыча криптовалюты, потребляющая много электричества, была ограничена в связи с дефицитом электроэнергии в республике.

Днем ранее стало известно, что в Красноярском крае суд запретил «нелегальный майнинг стоимостью 4,6 млн руб. в месяц». Незаконная ферма была расположена под открытым небом на площади около 30 тыс. кв. м.
