XRP price has risen 31% since its weekly open of $1.84 on January 1, reaching a recent local high of $2.41 on Tuesday. However, the cryptocurrency has since retreated to the $2.20 range.

Considering that Ripple (XRP) was oversold after its recent rally, the price correction over the past two days is not surprising. However, its price remains significantly below its 2025 peak.

Bitmine is pressing ahead with its Ethereum-first treasury play as staking activity continues to scale. The latest data was shared in a Jan. 8 post on X by on-chain analytics platform Onchain Lens, which tracked Bitmine's most recent Ethereum (ETH) staking transaction.
