Maker launches DAI cross-chain infrastructure Maker Teleport

Maker announced that it launches Maker Teleport, a MakerDAO infrastructure for teleporting DAI across the multi-chain space. Maker Teleport is built by the MakerDAO Engineering Core Unit. Maker Teleport’s full deployment is divided into two stages: Fast Withdrawals and L2-to-L2 Full Teleport. Maker Teleport is now deployed with the Fast Withdrawals implementation, allowing users to teleport DAI from L2 to L1 instantly. Fast Withdrawals is now fully functional for Arbitrum and Optimism with a 1 million DAI debt ceiling available for each one of these L2 networks. In a future upgrade, users will be able to teleport DAI between L2 networks almost instantly. Maker also announced a DAI grant program for developers who want to integrate Maker Teleport.
