Musk: Twitter Blue paid user verification is the only way to defeat the bots

Best-selling author Stephen King took to Twitter to slam Musk-led Twitter Blue paid user verification, arguing that $19.99 a month is too expensive. Musk tweeted in response: “We need to pay the bills somehow! Twitter cannot rely entirely on advertisers. I will explain the rationale in longer form before this is implemented. It is the only way to defeat the bots & trolls.”
