Sam Altman Relinquishes Open AI Safety and Security Committee Position

Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI and co-founder of Worldcoin (WLD), has stepped down from OpenAI's safety and security committee. Amidst criticism that Altman's presence on the committee hindered the committee's ability to effectively challenge the company, Altman's departure will allow the committee to transition into an independent board. The new committee will be led by Zico Kolter, head of machine learning, as its chair.
