If this last selling value was more than the latest spot price for any token, then that particular coin is assumed to be held at a loss right now.The Total Supply in Loss counts up all tokens fulfilling this condition. A counterpart indicator called the Total Supply in Profit takes care of the supply of the opposite type (that is, the coins with a cost basis lower than the current price).Now, here is the chart shared by Glassnode that shows the trend in the 7-hour simple moving average (SMA) of the Bitcoin Total Supply in Loss over the last couple of year

At the asset’s top, the underwater supply shrank to levels below 7 million BTC. For comparison, the metric neared the 10 million mark following the crash in February.

Bitcoin continues to trade under pressure after losing the critical $75K-$76K support zone, while broader market sentiment remains cautious amid weakening ETF inflows and deteriorating technical structure.

However, $BTC is now approaching an important confluence of technical supports around $70K-$72K, where both trendline support and the 100-day MA could provide temporary relief for the market.

Bitcoin Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

On the daily timeframe, Bitcoin has officially broken below the key $75K-$76K support region, which previously acted as an important decision point for the market. The breakdown confirms bearish continuation after repeated failures to reclaim the descending 200-day MA near $80K-$81K.

Currently, the price is approaching a major support confluence around $70K-$72K. This region aligns with the ascending lower boundary of the broader structure, the 100-day MA around $73K, and a significant historical order block visible on the chart. Such overlapping supports often increase the probability of at least a short-term reaction or relief bounce.

If buyers manage to defend the $70K-$72K range, Bitcoin could attempt a corrective recovery back toward the broken $75K-$76K resistance zone. However, failure to hold this area may open the path toward deeper supports around $65K-$66K and potentially the broader $60K-$63K demand region.

For now, the overall market structure remains bearish unless $BTC reclaims the $75K-$76K zone and stabilizes above it.

But while everyone was celebrating, the on-chain data was telling a very different story.
According to hl.eco data, right as HYPE was printing new highs, the TWAP net buy volume was quietly rolling over. In just the last hour, net sell volume hit $202,000. And the projected net buy volume for the next 24 hours? It collapsed from roughly $54 million earlier this morning down to just $3.91 million.
That's a 93% drop in projected buying pressure. In a single morning.

Strategy Reverses Bitcoin Deposit
On-chain trackers first flagged the deposit as Strategy's earliest direct exchange transfer in nearly two years, a rare move for a company that almost never touches trading venues. The coins arrived in two batches of roughly 205 BTC each, landing on an institutional custody platform that traders often read as a staging ground for sales.
Hours later, the same amount returned to the firm's own wallets.
Saylor had signaled earlier in the week that Strategy could sell some Bitcoin before year-end, citing dividend payments and capital needs rather than any loss of conviction. A recent $1.5 billion buyback of convertible notes had drained much of the company's cash, which sharpened speculation about how it would cover those bills. The deposit pushed Polymarket odds on a 2026 sale above 90% within hours.

BitMine Doubles Ether Bet
Meanwhile, Tom Lees BitMine Immersion Technologies bought 25,000 Ether (ETH) for $50.6 million on the same day, extending one of the largest corporate accumulation drives in the market. The purchase lifted its holdings near 5.39 million ETH, about 4.47% of supply and within reach of Lee's stated 5% target for the year. Ether has slid roughly 10% over the past month.
