Bitcoin Price Forecast: CEO Charts Path to $92,000
On Monday, Bitcoin again surpassed $81,000, reclaiming a level it hadn't reached in four months and continuing a recovery that has added nearly $500 billion to the total cryptocurrency market capitalization since the start of the US-Iran war.

This move was accompanied by short liquidation, as bearish traders found themselves at a disadvantage when the price broke the psychological barrier of $80,000. The forced short-covering accelerated the rally, fueling a move that was already based on improving macroeconomic sentiment.
Avinash Shekhar, co-founder and CEO of crypto derivatives platform Pi42, told Coinpedia that the $80,000 level is now the line separating a confirmed breakout from continued sideways movement.

 "Bitcoin is trading above $80,000, testing key psychological resistance after recently breaking above it for the first time in three months," Shekhar said. "The upside was supported by strong momentum and sharp liquidation of bearish positions, reflecting aggressive short-covering as the price rises."

The technical picture, he said, is positive but not yet confirmed. A sustained close above $80,000 would open the door to $85,000-$92,000 in the near term. Failure to hold this level will likely lead to Bitcoin returning to consolidation as traders hedge positions and wait for a clearer directional signal.

Ethereum is testing major resistance near $2,375 after reaching the top of its short term channel. A clean breakout could shift attention toward $2,550 and $2,646, while rejection may send $ETH back to lower support zones.

Ethereum Tests Major Channel Resistance Near $2,375

Ethereum has reached the upper boundary of its 4 hour descending channel, according to the chart shared by Ali Charts. The chart marks $2,375 as the main resistance area, while nearby levels at $2,367 and $2,330 show the short term decision zone.

This resistance matters because Ethereum faced rejection from the same channel top in previous moves. Each failed attempt pushed $ETH back toward lower channel levels, showing that sellers have defended this area more than once.

If Ethereum fails to clear $2,375, the chart points to a possible retracement toward the lower boundary of the channel. Ali Charts marked that lower area near $2,210, with intermediate levels around $2,290 and $2,250.

However, a daily close above $2,375 would change the short term setup. Ali Charts said that move could trigger a 7% bullish breakout, with the next structural target near $2,550.

For now, Ethereum remains at a key resistance zone. The next signal depends on whether $ETH confirms a close above the channel top or faces another rejection from the same pattern.

A class-action group has accused rapper Iggy Azalea of not following through on delivering utility and business integrations for her memecoin, M

other Iggy.Rapper Iggy Azalea is facing a class-action lawsuit in the US, accusing her of misleading investors about the real-world utility and future development of her Solana-based memecoin Mother Iggy (MOTHER).

The complaint filed by plaintiff Kenneth Kolbrak in a Manhattan federal court on Monday claimed Azalea, whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly, made representations about the token having real-world utility, commercial integrations and continuing development that never materialized.

“Those representations were limited, incomplete, contradicted, temporary, or not delivered in a durable way,” the complaint said. “The terms and effects of the market support arrangements were never disclosed to consumers.”

Azalea’s MOTHER was one of the buzzier tokens launched amid a frenzy of celebrity-tied memecoins in 2024. Like other celebrity memecoins, its launch was marred by allegations of insider trading.

The token was launched in May 2024 and reached a peak market value of over $136 million by mid-June. Its market capitalization is now sitting at $1.3 million, according to CoinGecko.

Unlike other celebrities who launched memecoins, Azalea has remained involved with the token, interacting with supporters on social media and promoting it on X.

According to the complaint, Azalea promoted the token as “the native currency of an expanding ecosystem of real businesses controlled or co-founded by Azalea, including a telecommunications company, an online casino, a luxury gifting marketplace, a merchandise store, and entertainment integrations.”

Bitcoin Price Rockets Past $81,000 for the First Time Since January

Bitcoin price surged above $81,000 for the first time since January 2026.
Bitcoin price broke above $81,000 during Asian trading hours and early U.S. hours today, its highest price since late January and the latest sign that the market has moved past a brutal first-quarter stretch that bottomed near $60,000. 

The move came on the back of several forces hitting at once: a flood of institutional money into ETFs, a shift in Middle East tensions, and a derivatives market that had been loading up for a run past $80,000 for weeks.

The structural setup for this was built in April. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $2.44 billion in net inflows last month — the strongest monthly figure since October 2025, when Bitcoin price hit its $126,000 all-time high. BlackRock’s IBIT alone captured $1.71 billion of that total, a 70% market share that keeps widening the gap between the fund and every other ETF in the space. 

Strategy, the Michael Saylor-led firm, also confirmed several massive Bitcoin purchases in April, bringing its total holdings to 818,334 BTC.

The geopolitical backdrop did the rest of the work. Iran has allegedly been charging oil tankers $1 per barrel in Bitcoin to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since mid-March, a toll the country chose in crypto because the funds are harder to freeze under sanctions. A single loaded supertanker carrying two million barrels generates a $2 million transit fee, all settled on-chain. 

By Monday, a disputed Iranian missile claim briefly pulled BTC back toward $79,000, but it recovered  overnight after Trump’s “Project Freedom” announcement — a U.S. military operation to escort commercial vessels through the strait — cooled the situation and sent crude futures down nearly 5%.
