Europe's MiCA deadline is turning access and infrastructure into the same question: which crypto apps remain available, and who controls the rails underneath them?

BitGo Europe GmbH announced a partnership with Bielik.io, a Warsaw-based crypto trading platform, to support regulated trading access across the EEA by integrating BitGo Europe's Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure.

Through that integration, eligible Bielik.io users are expected to access deposits, supported digital asset trading, and custody via Bielik's mobile app, while BitGo Europe provides the regulated infrastructure beneath.

Cardano Now Ranks as the 4th Most Decentralized Network


The Cardano network ranks as one of the most decentralized networks in the crypto space, as the chances of compromise become nearly impossible.

Decentralization in this context refers to the even distribution of control and authority among network participants.

A well-decentralized network has broader participation in decision-making and is censorship resistant. Currently, Cardano ranks among the top four in crypto networks with these features.

Cardano Nakamoto Coefficient at 23

This ranking was determined by the Nakamoto coefficient. Named after Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto, the metric measures how decentralized a network is using multiple factors. One is the minimum number of independent entities that have enough control to disrupt consensus.

Disrupting consensus for a Proof of Stake mechanism requires 33% of the total stake or voting power. For Proof of Work, a miner would need 50% of the total hash power to achieve censorship.

The higher a network’s Nakamoto coefficient, the more decentralized it is. As of June 23, Cardano has a score of 23, the fourth-highest among all blockchains. This means that it would take the agreement of 23 independent network contributors to compromise the network. Analysts view this as a nearly impossible scenario in practice.

Notably, only three networks are more decentralized than Cardano using this metric. Polkadot ranks first with a Nakamoto coefficient of 178, the Ton Network ranks second at 72, while Avalanche ranks third at 26.

In crypto news today (June 23), Bitcoin has crashed below $63,000, sparking fears that a drop to $60,000 is imminent. ETF flows are dictating current price action once again, with three consecutive red days, and yesterday alone saw $68M BTC sold.

Liquidations have also picked up, with over $575M over the past 24-hours and $458M of that figure coming from long positions. Liquidations, mostly from longs, signal that the market is back in a downtrend, but bulls have yet to accept that truth.

Chainlink (LINK) and Monero (XMR) are two of the only major caps in the green today, each up around +2.5%, highlighting strength while the broader market bleeds. Trading volume has dropped off considerably, sitting at $68Bn over the past 24-hours, down from over $110Bn just two days ago.

With Bitcoin and the broader market continuing to bleed, the Fear & Greed Index remains at 23/100, maintaining the 20-25 range over the last seven days and indicating a lack of clear direction across crypto.

Bitcoin's $BTC$62,436.82 fall below $60,000 on June 5, its lowest level since late 2024, reflects a convergence of macroeconomic and structural pressures, according to Deutsche Bank (DB), which said $BTC is increasingly trading like an institutional risk asset rather than a retail-driven speculative bet.

The investment bank said bitcoin's renewed sell-off was driven by a hawkish shift in Federal Reserve expectations, sustained outflows from U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), a confidence shock following Strategy's (MSTR) first $BTC sale since 2022, and a broader rotation of investor capital into artificial intelligence.

"Bitcoin is not disappearing; it is maturing into an institutional asset whose price is set by fund flows, Fed expectations, competing risk themes, and legislative outcomes," analyst Marion Laboure said in the Tuesday report.

$BTC has struggled in recent weeks, briefly falling below $60,000 on June 5 before rebounding to around $62,000-$63,000. Bitcoin remains more than 50% below its October 2025 record high, pressured by a hawkish shift in Federal Reserve expectations, persistent outflows from spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds and a broader pullback in risk appetite.

While investors may see signs of stabilization near current levels, some analysts say bitcoin's near-term direction will likely depend on whether institutional demand returns and macroeconomic conditions improve.

Deutsche Bank's economists now expect the Fed to raise interest rates twice in 2026, reversing earlier expectations that monetary policy would ease. The shift removes a key support that had underpinned institutional demand for bitcoin and other risk assets, the report said.
