Strive adds 759 Bitcoin for $50 million, lifting treasury past 19,000 BTCStrive Inc. (NASDAQ: ASST) bought 759 Bitcoin between June 15 and June 21 at an average price of $65,850 per coin.

The firm spent roughly $50 million to push its total holdings beyond 19,800 $BTC, according to an 8-K filing disclosed on June 22.

Is Strive’s latest $BTC purchase cheaper than its previous?
The per-coin cost came in about 11% lower than Strive’s previous large purchase in May, when the Vivek Ramaswamy-founded firm paid an average of $74,092 each for more than 2,500 $BTC, a $185.2 million outlay.

The price difference within a single quarter shows how much Bitcoin’s volatility can shift a corporate buyer’s cost basis from one month to the next.

Strive CEO Matt Cole announced the acquisition on X on June 22, writing that the company “acquired an additional 759 $BTC for ~$50M.”

Since January, the firm has added over 3,700 $BTC to its balance sheet, a total that includes coins picked up through its acquisition of Semler Scientific earlier this year plus ongoing open-market purchases.

How does Strive fund its Bitcoin buys?
Through SATA, a perpetual preferred stock that pays daily dividends at a 13% rate, Strive has been financing its accumulation.

Since SATA is the preferred instrument as opposed to a convertible note or at-the-market common equity offering, Strive says it avoids dilution with existing ASST shareholders.

Data from BitcoinTreasuries.net shows the SATA mechanism is generating meaningful capital. In its first full week of daily dividend payments (June 15 through June 19), SATA raised enough to acquire an estimated 603 $BTC, with the strongest single day on June 16 producing roughly $19.45 million in net proceeds and an estimated 296 $BTC purchase.

President Donald Trump ordered federal agencies to move high-value assets and high-impact systems to post-quantum cryptography, setting deadlines of Dec. 31, 2030, for key establishment and Dec. 31, 2031, for digital signatures. The June 22 executive order applies to sensitive federal systems, procurement rules, and planning across critical infrastructure sectors.

The order focuses on the risks posed by quantum computing. It warns that adversaries could collect encrypted U.S. data today and decrypt it later once quantum technology advances. Secret Network's cross-chain bridge to Axelar has been suspended after an attacker exploited a years-old minting flaw to drain $4.67 million in wrapped tokens over seven undetected days.

Both teams disclosed the incident on June 19, confirming approximately $4.67 million in assets were taken from the bridge's Axelar-to-Secret IBC connection. The attack itself began on June 10 but went unnoticed for seven days until a routine cross-chain transfer failed because the bridge's escrow account had been depleted.

Minting Flaw
The vulnerability lived in a modified CW20-ICS20 smart contract deployed on Secret Network for the Axelar bridge connection. Security research firm Common Prefix published a technical breakdown of the incident, finding that two critical validation checks had been commented out from the contract's packet-receive function: one that should have verified incoming token denominations against the legitimate source channel, and one that should have capped outflows to amounts genuinely held in escrow.

The flaw dates to the contract's initial deployment in March 2023 and survived a migration on March 5, 2026 that updated the bytecode for new features but preserved the missing checks. Secret Network's default transaction encryption obscured the growing shortfall from on-chain observers; the attack ran for seven days before a failed transfer surfaced it.

24X National Exchange's latest tokenized stock filing has put Wall Street's core plumbing at the forefront of the equity-tokenization race.

The exchange filed SR-24X-2026-20 on June 11, with the SEC issuing its notice on June 16 and the June 22 notice placing the filing in the Federal Register.

The rule change would let eligible 24X members trade certain securities in tokenized form during a Depository Trust Company pilot, according to the SEC's notice filing.

The filing frames tokenization as an upgrade to the national market system rather than a workaround. The model described by 24X keeps the exchange, DTC, participant eligibility, order-entry controls, and shareholder-rights protections in place.

The token layer changes how eligible positions can be represented and settled, while the legal identity of the share and the market structure around the trade stay intact.

The filing's answer is practical: tokenized stocks look like legacy market infrastructure adding a token wrapper.

The filing would amend 24X rules covering eligible securities, member access, order priority, and routing. The proposed structure would allow DTC Eligible Participants to trade tokenized versions of eligible equity securities and exchange-traded products on 24X during the DTC pilot.

The SEC notice says the securities would trade within the current national market system, using DTC to clear and settle trades in token form based on instructions selected when orders are entered.

That keeps tokenized equity activity connected to the same market architecture that governs ordinary exchange-traded shares.

Bullish has become the first centralized exchange to list SoFiUSD, extending the reach of SoFi’s bank-issued stablecoin beyond its consumer banking platform into institutional digital asset markets.

The exchange announced on June 22 that SoFiUSD is now live for trading on Bullish Exchange. The stablecoin, issued by SoFi Bank, N.A., is described as the first U.S. dollar stablecoin issued by a U.S. national bank.
