Ad Disclosure Crypto analyst Bee has forecasted a major price bottom for Bitcoin (BTC), the world's largest digital currency. Despite its recent rally above $80,000, the expert still believes that BTC remains in a broader bearish market, likely viewing the latest price gains as a temporary bounce. While some analysts think that Bitcoin's downtrend is over and others project a bottom around the $50,000 range, Bee expects BC's price to decline even lower before a sustained rally can begin. Bitcoin Price Set To Bottom Around $42,000In an X post on May 11, Bee said that Bitcoin is just one leg away from reaching its historical cycle bottom. The market expert shared a video chart analysis highlighting technical patterns and historical trends to support their bearish Bitcoin price outlook. After recording this all-time high, Btc crashed to $82,167, forming a lower low, where the first ascending channel began. Within this channel, the cryptocurrency traded sideways for months before rallying again to touch the upper boundary of the pattern at around $97,855. After that lower high was reached, BTC began crashing again, but this time, the decline was even sharper and more severe.

Ad Disclosure Crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) made a major move for the Hyperliquid (HYPE) ecosystem on Thursday, outlining how it plans to deepen support for Circle’s USDC stablecoin on the platform. In a blog post, Coinbase said it is expanding its role by becoming the official treasury deployer of USDC on Hyperliquid, treating USDC as an Aligned Quote Asset (AQA), while the network’s USDH token is expected to be phased out gradually. Coinbase Gains Rights To USDHThe Hyperliquid official X (formerly Twitter) account said the technical deployment responsibilities were described as falling to Circle, which will handle key infrastructure such as CCTP and native cross-chain tooling.Both Coinbase and Circle also indicated that they will stake HYPE tokens as part of the process to turn on AQAv2. It also said that, as part of a future network upgrade, canonical outcome (HIP-4) markets will use USDC as the quote asset.Coinbase emphasized that the migration won’t be abrupt for current users. Strategy’s STRC stock logs record $1.5 billion trading volume, funds 11,707 bitcoin purchase

Stretch (STRC), the perpetual preferred stock issued by Strategy (MSTR), the world’s largest public corporate holder of bitcoin , recorded $1.53 billion in trading volume on Thursday, the most on record.

According to BitcoinQuant, the surge helped fund the purchase of some 11,707 bitcoin through the company’s at-the-market (ATM) program, which allows Strategy to sell newly issued shares to raise capital for additional bitcoin purchases.

Most STRC shares traded at or above their $100 par value. Thursday’s trading activity was more than four times the average daily volume over the past 30 days, which stood at roughly $331 million. STRC currently offers an 11.5% annual dividend, paid monthly in cash.

Trading volume in dividend-paying securities often peaks on the session before the ex-dividend date, the cutoff date after which new buyers are no longer eligible to receive the upcoming dividend payment.

With Friday marking STRC’s ex-dividend date, the preferred shares fell to $99.12 in pre-market trading, down nearly 1%, a typical move as dividend-paying shares often decline by roughly the amount of the payout once they begin trading ex-dividend.

Bitcoin, meanwhile, slipped to $80,500, sending MSTR common stock down 2% in pre-market trading.
