The Tennessee Bankers Association (TBA), a trade group representing the state’s commercial banks, has selected Stablecore as a preferred technology provider for digital asset services, highlighting growing interest among regional lenders in crypto infrastructure.
In a Tuesday announcement, the TBA said Stablecore will provide infrastructure that enables community and regional banks to offer products such as stablecoins, tokenized deposits and digital asset-backed lending through their existing systems.

The endorsement gives Stablecore exposure to the association’s roughly 175 member institutions, potentially accelerating adoption among smaller banks that lack in-house digital asset capabilities.

The total Q1 demand for gold, including OTC, was up 2% year-on-year. Combined with the massive price rise, the value of the quarterly demand for gold saw a 74% jump to a record high of $193 billion.

Tether Gold saw a 36% increase in underlying gold reserves quarter on quarter, and the report highlighted that the scale and speed of inflows reflected a structural shift and was not explained just by investors seeing gold as an uncertainty hedge.

There are 707,747.09 XAU₮ tokens in circulation. Each token is 1:1 physically backed by one fine troy ounce (roughly 31.103 grams) of gold. XAU₮ has a total market value of $3.303 billion, and there are 148,145.45 XAU₮ tokens available for sale.

Bitcoin ($BTC) is currently on a roll, surging past the $80,000 mark and touching base above $81,000. While this rally could be a reason for positive sentiment, market experts believe otherwise.

In a weekly report from the crypto exchange Bitfinex, analysts warned that bitcoin’s rally to $80,000 is misleading because the market is not positioned for upside movement. According to the analysts, $BTC is currently stuck between bulls and bears, conviction and caution. Considering market conditions, the leading digital asset is likely to lean toward the negative rather than the positive.

To substantiate their claims, the Bitfinex analysts highlighted an improving but uneven demand wave. Based on historical data, $BTC rallies have been sustained by strong demand, but that is not the case this time.

Underlying demand is improving with steady inflows from spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and continued accumulation from institutions like Strategy. However, the demand is not strong enough to absorb the overhead supply and confirm a sustained breakout. In fact, $BTC is in a fragile yet constructive range, with short-term holders taking profits as they exit positions near breakeven.

“This behavior is a textbook pattern in bear markets: whenever the price approaches the breakeven level of the most price-sensitive cohort, the incentive to exit positions overwhelms incoming demand, exhausting upside momentum,” analysts stated.

Bitcoin requires heavy spot-led demand to sustain a rally. However, with a divided macro environment, no clear liquidity tailwind, and ongoing geopolitical risk in the Middle East, that may seem unlikely in the short term.

For today, May 6, 2026, Cardano still needs to clear multiple resistance levels before turning fully bullish, SUI approaches another critical breakout attempt after two earlier failures, and XRP price now tests the next barrier after reclaiming $1.40.

What happens next from here could shape the short-term direction for all three assets today.

Cardano Price Still Faces Multiple Resistance Levels Before Becoming Fully Bullish

Cardano price increased by around 5% yesterday only, and the structure still looks ready to continue upward today.

The first key resistance today remains the same level that has limited Cardano price growth since the end of March. That resistance sits around $0.267. Sellers have consistently pushed ADA price downward from that area each time the market approached it.

A successful break above $0.267 would then place the next resistance around $0.290 into focus. That level would also need to give way before Cardano price can challenge the top of the broader consolidation zone around $0.30. Breaking all these levels today does not seem very likely unless major news disrupts the current market rhythm completely.

The indicator readings still remain mostly bullish despite the resistance overhead.

RSI currently trades around 61.72, which shows bullish momentum still remains active without the market becoming overheated yet. That reading usually means buyers still control short term price direction.

The stochastic indicator also remains under a buy signal. That shows upward pressure still exists across the shorter timeframe structure.
