U.S. jobless claims fall to six-week low

Golden Finance reported that people in the week ending June 28, hitting a six-week low since mid-May, below the economists' forecast of 240,000. However, the total number of continuing jobless claims as of the week ending June 21 remained at a high level of 1.964 million people, the highest level since the autumn of 2021.
