DOGE Price Analysis for January 28

Bulls are back in the game after a correction, according to CoinMarketCap.





$DOGE/USD

$DOGE is one of the biggest gainers today, rising by 3.75%.





On the hourly chart, the rate of $DOGE is going down after a false breakout of the local resistance at $0.1273. If the drop continues, one can expect a test of the $0.1250 zone by tomorrow.





On the longer time frame, one should focus on the daily bar's closure in terms of the nearest level at $0.1279. If it breaks out, the accumulated energy might be enough for an ongoing rise to the $0.13 area.





From the midterm point of view, the situation is less positive for buyers. The rate of $DOGE is near the support level, which means sellers' pressure remains relevant.

As none of the sides is dominating, sideways trading in the range of $0.12-$0.13 is the most likely scenario.

Glassnode data reveals that the Spent Output Profit Ratio has dropped below 1, signaling capitulation. At the same time, debate grows over Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin and its potential long-term impact on XRP demand.Glassnode data shows that XRP’s Spent Output Profit Ratio fell from 1.16 on July 25, 2025, to 0.96. A reading below 1 indicates that holders sell at a loss. This shift marks a sharp change in profitability. Analysts compared the current setup to the period between September 2021 and May 2022. During that cycle, XRP’s SOPR stayed below 1 for months. A prolonged consolidation followed before price stabilization emerged.
Meanwhile, price action reflects persistent weakness. Since August 2025, XRP has trended downward. Short recoveries failed to hold. By late October, the token had fallen 27% from $3.5 in mid-July to $2.4.

At the same time, long-term holders increased their spending activity. Investors who accumulated before November 2024 raised daily spending by 580%. Their average jumped from $38 million to $260 million per day. Those flows continued into early November. Analysts noted that this behavior differed from past rallies. Instead of selling into strength, experienced holders distributed into weakness, adding pressure to the price.

By mid-November, only 58.5% of the XRP supply remained in profit. That marked the lowest level since November 2024, when XRP traded at $0.53. Despite trading near $2.15, more than 41% of the supply sat in losses.

The last time XRP fell below $1 was in November 2024.  XRP began to strengthen in late 2024 as the SEC's lawsuit against Ripple neared its end. The settlement agreement significantly boosted investor confidence. XRP eventually hit an all-time high of $3.65 last July. However, the cryptocurrency market entered a bear market in October 2025. Since its all-time high, XRP's price has fallen by more than 50%.

If the cryptocurrency market continues its current trajectory, XRP could potentially fall below the $1 mark again. However, the asset appears to have some support at its current price level. A drop below $1.70 could increase selling pressure from investors, potentially causing XRP to fall below $1.

The Federal Reserve is reportedly gearing up to conduct its FOMC meeting today and tomorrow. After the FOMC meeting, the Fed will decide whether to change the interest rates, currently at 3.5%-3.75%.
