XRP Daily Addresses Surge 7x, Whales Hold Over 1 Million XRP, Hitting All-Time High

XRP Ledger Activity Surges, Whale Wallets Hit All-Time High

Santiment’s blockchain data shows growing ecosystem activity on the XRP Ledger, driven by a variety of factors. In its latest update published on X, Santiment highlighted that the number of daily XRP interactive addresses has increased to 295,000 over the past week.

Over the past three months, the average number of XRP daily active addresses has fluctuated between 35,000 and 40,000. The data shows that the number of daily interactive addresses has increased 7x compared to the average of the previous three months, indicating a significant increase in activity on the blockchain.

The data also shows a significant increase in the number of whale wallets on the blockchain, with 2,708 wallets currently holding at least 1 million XRP. This is the first time in XRP’s 12-year history that so many wallets have held so much XRP — about $2.25 million per wallet.

 The record number of XRP whale wallets comes amid recent bullish comments from Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Speaking at the XRPL Apex 2025 event in Singapore, Garlinghouse predicted that XRPL will account for 14% of SWIFT liquidity within five years. He cited the rapid growth of the XRPL ecosystem and its cross-border payment capabilities as supporting factors.
