The "For You" feed on Focus just received a significant infrastructure upgrade!

The algorithm is now designed to reward on-chain interactions between DeSo users, such as comments, reactions, social tips, wallet balances, reposts and more.

All of which live directly on the censorship-resistant DeSo blockchain.

The combination of on-chain signals, from social graphs, content, identity and wallet balance also significantly reduces bots & spam from now appearing on the feed.

As a result, active users who are posting quality content on Focus and are engaging meaningfully with others will now see huge increases in both engagement & views.

An upcoming follow-up iteration will allow all end-users to manage feed weights and rankings themselves to craft their perfect balance of content and users.

This foundational work sets us up for the upcoming Feed Store (a marketplace for algorithms), and our Post-2-Earn initiative, which we're excited to begin rolling out in the coming months.
