On June 5th, CKpool developers announced that this morning they successfully packaged block 899,826 and obtained 3.151 BTC (about 330,000 USD) in block rewards for an independent miner using CKpool's standalone mining software. The miner increased their hash rate from 6.11 PH/s to 261 PH/s by temporarily renting hash power, and with a probability of about 1/3050 (at the time the network hash rate was 796 EH/s), they successfully mined a block. This marks the 300th block mined by an independent miner in CKpool's history, with a similar case occurring in April 2024.
