Coinbase 已扩展其加密货币抵押贷款产品，新增四种代币：XRP、狗狗币 (Dogecoin)、Cardano 的 ADA 和莱特币 (Litecoin)。除纽约州以外，符合条件的美国客户现在可以使用这些资产作为抵押品，借入高达 10 万美元的 USDC。


贷款通过 Morpho 进行，Morpho 是一个去中心化贷款协议，运行在 Coinbase 自有的以太坊二层网络 Base 上。Coinbase 提供用户界面，但借贷机制在链上处理。


Coinbase 最初推出该产品时支持比特币，随后又增加了以太币 (Ether)。比特币持有者最多可以借入 500 万美元的 USDC，以太币持有者最多可以借入 100 万美元。


据 Coinbase 称，自推出以来，该服务已累计发放超过 19 亿美元的贷款。


 新代币的借贷限额更为严格。XRP、狗狗币、ADA 和莱特币贷款的最高贷款价值比 (LTV) 为 49%，而比特币和以太坊的最高 LTV 为 75%。


新代币的清算触发点为 LTV 达到 62.5%，而比特币和以太坊贷款的清算触发点为 86%。


LTV 衡量的是贷款规模相对于抵押品价值的比例。当抵押品价格下跌或利息产生时，LTV 上升；当抵押品价格上涨或贷款偿还时，LTV 下降。


贷款运作方式


没有固定的还款计划，但借款人必须将 LTV 保持在允许的范围内，以避免被清算。


利率是浮动的，由 Morpho 协议上的供求关系决定。Coinbase 会在每次客户借款时收取一次性费用，即使是追加现有贷款也不例外。


根据 Coinbase 的服务条款，借款人不得使用贷款资金在 Coinbase 上进行交易。


 根据美国证券交易委员会（SEC）的文件显示，截至12月31日，Coinbase客户账户中持有价值172亿美元的XRP，使其成为该平台上最大的资产之一。


需要了解的风险


该产品通常被描述为具有税务优势，因为以加密货币作抵押借款不会像出售加密货币那样产生资本利得税。然而，这取决于个人的税务情况。


如果抵押品价值大幅下跌，则可能发生清算。第三方将偿还债务并以折扣价收回抵押品。


某些代币必须经过包装才能在以太坊兼容网络上用作抵押品。Coinbase已警告称，这种转换过程本身可能构成应税事件。
