Cynthia Lummis, the proposer of the Bitcoin Reserve Strategy Act and chairman of the Senate Banking Committee on Digital Assets, said, "If we use 5% of the total amount of Bitcoin (about 1 million Bitcoins) to establish reserves, then US debt can be reduced by half in the next 20 years."
