The ongoing disruption around the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes, has triggered a sharp selloff in government debt markets worldwide, pushing bond yields to multi-year and record highs.Traders are increasingly betting that major central banks, including the Federal Reserve, Bank of England, and Bank of Japan, may keep interest rates higher for longer or even introduce additional rate hikes to contain inflation caused by surging energy costs. As a result, investors have moved away from government-backed bonds, sending yields sharply upward across global markets.Japan’s 10-year government bond yield climbed to its highest level since 1996, while its 30-year yield reached a record high. In the United Kingdom, 30-year gilt yields surged to levels last seen in 1998. Meanwhile, U.S. Treasury yields also advanced significantly, with the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield hitting a one-year high and the 30-year yield rising to levels not seen since 2007.Goldman Sachs analysts warned that the rapid rise in bond yields is beginning to weigh heavily on equity markets, including the S&P 500. According to the investment bank, the relationship between stocks and interest rates has turned increasingly negative as investors become more sensitive to inflation and monetary policy risks.The analysts pointed to several factors driving market fragility, including elevated bond yields, expensive stock valuations, resilient economic growth, and late-cycle market conditions fueled by optimism around artificial intelligence and technology stocks. Bitcoin Price Eyes Fresh Gains

Bitcoin price remained supported above the $75,000 zone. $BTC formed a base and settled above $76,200 to start a recovery wave. There was a move above the $76,500 and $76,600 levels.

The bulls were able to push the price above the 50% Fib retracement level of the downward move from the $78,100 swing high to the $74,209 low. However, the bears are active near $77,000. There is also a bearish trend line forming with resistance at $77,050 on the hourly chart of the $BTC/USD pair.

Bitcoin is now trading above $76,500 and the 100 hourly simple moving average. If the price remains stable above $77,050, it could attempt a fresh increase. Immediate resistance is near the $77,450 level or the 83.2% Fib retracement level of the downward move from the $78,100 swing high to the $74,209 low.

MORPHO tracks a rising channel with $2.23 as the key level
The technical outlook points to further upside for MORPHO, though a structural resistance level remains in the way.

The asset is following a rising upward channel, indicating it is tracking a sustained bullish trend. At press time, MORPHO was advancing toward a resistance level at $2.23.

A clean break above this level would likely push the asset toward $2.36, representing a 9.47% gain from that point. A rejection at $2.23, however, would likely send the price back toward the rising diagonal support line, which could provide a platform for another rebound to the upside.

The Accumulation/Distribution indicator adds further confidence to the bullish structure, holding on the positive side of the market with total volume crossing 9.97 million.

Hyperliquid is emerging as a challenger to traditional exchanges and prediction markets, says FalconXCrypto trading platform Hyperliquid is beginning to compete with traditional exchanges and prediction market operators as it expands beyond perpetual futures trading, according to a new report from FalconX.
Senior crypto market strategist David Lawant outlined how Hyperliquid’s recent moves into pre-IPO markets, prediction contracts and tokenized real-world assets are broadening the platform’s appeal beyond crypto-native traders.

“Hyperliquid is seeing traction as demand for its HIP-3 markets expands to include pre-IPO markets,” the report said.

Hyperliquid first gained traction through crypto perpetual futures, a type of derivatives contract that dominates offshore digital asset trading. The platform’s native token, $HYPE, has skyrocketed 94% over the past three months. But FalconX said newer products could push the platform into more direct competition with firms such as CME Group, Intercontinental Exchange-backed prediction market Kalshi and Polymarket.

Michael Saylor has said that Bitcoin sales before the end of 2026 are “not unlikely” as Strategy adjusts its capital structure.



The company currently holds 843,738 BTC worth more than $65 billion.


According to a post published by Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor on X, the company bought bonds instead of Bitcoin this week, with Saylor stating that the “BitVac is charging.”

The comment came as investors watched for signs of another Bitcoin acquisition following recent weakness in both Bitcoin and MSTR stock.


Earlier disclosures from Strategy showed the company plans to repurchase nearly $1.5 billion in face value of its 0% convertible senior notes due 2029 for about $1.38 billion in cash. Company filings said the repurchase could be funded through existing cash reserves, proceeds from at-the-market stock sales, and potential Bitcoin sales

Just days before the latest announcement, Saylor said during an interview that it was “not unlikely” that Strategy could sell some Bitcoin before the end of 2026.
