Worldcoin hits 6-month low: Will $0.20 be WLD’s next support level?

ambcryptoPublicado a 2026-03-28Actualizado a 2026-03-28

Resumen

Worldcoin (WLD) has extended its bearish trend, falling 9.03% to a six-month low of $0.2701 and breaching the $0.30 support level. The decline was accompanied by significant capital outflows, with its market cap dropping to $876 million and over $4.26 million in long positions being liquidated. Adding to the selling pressure, the Worldcoin team transferred 89.65 million WLD (worth $26.17 million) to a new wallet and then to multiple centralized exchanges, a move that often signals potential token sales or liquidity provision. Market data shows strong dominance by sellers, with sell volume exceeding buy volume on Binance and futures netflow turning negative at -$18.98 million, indicating aggressive exits. Technical indicators, including the RSI nearing a bearish crossover, suggest further downside risk. A drop to the $0.20 support level appears likely unless WLD can reclaim and hold above the $0.30 resistance.

Worldcoin [WLD] has traded within a strong downtrend since it fell below $1. In fact, the altcoin has closed at lower lows since January, reflecting strong bearish pressure.

Worldcoin extended its bearish streak, breaching the $0.3 support and dropping to a 6-month low of $0.2701. At press time, WLD traded at $0.282, down 9.03% on the daily charts.

Over the same period, the altcoin’s market cap dropped from $1 billion to $876 million, indicating massive capital outflows. Following this market slip, liquidation levels soared with over $4.26 million in long positions liquidated, further stretching the downtrend.

Amid this market weakness, the Worldcoin team has moved significant funds into exchanges.

WLD team moves 89.65M tokens

Onchain Lens reported that the WorldCoin Team sent 89.65 million WLD, worth $26.17 million, to a new wallet. After the transfer, the team later began sending funds to multiple centralized exchanges (CEXs).

When a team’s wallet makes such transfers, it could mean two important things. Firstly, moving funds to exchanges could mean that tokens are being prepared for sale.

Usually, this move is inflationary, causing short-term bearish pressure and leading to a price decline. However, sometimes teams move funds to exchanges to provide liquidity, supporting market stability by avoiding higher slippage.

Although less bearish, it could also create downside pressure if the demand is weak. Combined, either move could result in bearish pressure, leading to lower prices.

WLD faces strong bearish pressure

In addition to the team’s token transfers, Worldcoin has faced significant pressure from other market participants.

On the spot side, sellers have largely dominated the market, as evidenced by Buy Sell Volume on Binance. A the time of writing, Sell Volume rose to 94 million, while Buy Volume dropped to 76 million as of writing, with net market delta holding at -152 million.

The same market behavior was observed on the Futures side. According to CoinGlass data, Futures Inflow dropped to $101 million while outflows jumped to $120.3 million.

As a result, Futures Netflow dropped 277% to -$18.98 million, a clear sign of aggressive exits in the futures market. Such market conditions suggest increased risk-off sentiment with traders reducing exposure.

More losses ahead for WLD?

Worldcoin has faced significant downside pressure, and the latest team’s token transfer exacerbated the downtrend.

At press time, the altcoin’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) dropped deeper into the bearish zone and was nearing an bearish crossover. Often, when this momentum indicator drops to such levels, it suggests that sellers have outpaced buyers.

Traditionally, a drop into oversold territory has preceded lower prices. In fact, the Future Grand Trend indicator indicated a continued market decline, with a likelihood of dropping below the $0.2 support.

For a potential trend reversal, WLD needs to reclaim the $0.3 resistance and flip it into support.

Final Summary

  • Worldcoin team moves 89.65 million WLD, worth $26.17 million, to multiple exchanges.
  • WLD declined 9.03%, breaching the $0.3 support to a 6-month low of $0.27.

The Verdict in Choi Tae-won's Divorce Case: Revealing the Inheritance Undercurrent Behind SK Hynix's Trillion-Won Empire

SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won's high-profile divorce case, involving a record 1.38 trillion won settlement, has drawn attention to the succession plans for Korea's second-largest conglomerate, especially its crown jewel, SK hynix. Unlike traditional chaebol scripts centered on the eldest son, Chey's three children from his marriage to former President Roh Tae-woo's daughter, Roh Soh-yeong, are carving distinct, non-traditional paths. Eldest daughter Chey Yun-jung (b. 1989) is seen as the most evident successor. With a scientific and consulting background, she holds executive roles at SK bioscience and SK Inc.'s growth support department, focusing on future strategy and biopharma. Her marriage is to an AI infrastructure entrepreneur, not a traditional business alliance. Second daughter Chey Min-jung (b. 1991) took a unique route, voluntarily serving as a South Korean naval officer, including an anti-piracy deployment. She later worked on policy and strategy for SK hynix in Washington D.C. before co-founding an AI-driven healthcare startup. She married a former U.S. Marine Corps officer, connecting her to U.S. defense and policy circles—networks crucial for a global semiconductor giant. The only son, Chey In-geun (b. 1995), who studied physics like his father, worked briefly at SK E&S before joining McKinsey. Despite fitting the traditional "heir" profile as the eldest son, he remains silent and holds no public position or shares in SK, suggesting the old succession playbook is obsolete. As SK hynix's valuation soars, becoming a geopolitical asset in the AI era, the heirs' legitimacy is no longer automatic. They must prove themselves in fields like AI biotech, global policy, and strategic consulting. Their marriages also reflect new elite networks in tech and defense, not old political alliances. Their inheritance is the complex challenge of navigating a globalized, tech-driven world, not just a corporate throne.

From OpenSea to OpenRouter: Is Alex Atallah Repeating His 'Exit at the Peak' Playbook?

From OpenSea to OpenRouter: Is Alex Atallah Repeating His "Exit at the Peak" Playbook? According to the Wall Street Journal, payments giant Stripe is in talks to acquire the AI model aggregation platform OpenRouter in a potential deal valuing the company near $100 billion. This would mark founder Alex Atallah's second creation of a company reaching a $100 billion valuation, following his co-founding of NFT marketplace OpenSea. OpenRouter, founded just over three years ago, has grown rapidly by acting as a unified gateway for developers to access over 400 AI models. It currently has about 10 million users and processes over 200 trillion tokens monthly. While the platform's annualized revenue is around $50 million, its valuation has skyrocketed from $1.3 billion in March 2026. The potential acquisition by Stripe, a company OpenRouter's founder once likened it to, represents a major expansion into AI infrastructure for the payments leader. This move echoes Atallah's previous timing with OpenSea, where he departed before the NFT market's significant downturn. For OpenRouter, selling now may be strategic. Despite its scale, its business model—charging a 5-5.5% fee on AI inference calls—faces pressure from competition, open-source models, and potential price wars among model providers, limiting its profitability narrative for an IPO. A key asset for potential acquirers like Stripe is OpenRouter's vast repository of real-world AI usage data, which offers unique insights into model performance and developer preferences that are difficult to replicate. Whether this potential deal signifies a new valuation benchmark for AI infrastructure or another market peak signal remains to be seen.
