Bitcoin Trading Enters New Era With SEC-Approved Nasdaq Index Options

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved Nasdaq's proposal to list and trade Bitcoin index options, though trading is not immediate. Final approval is also required from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which has jurisdiction over Bitcoin as a commodity.
