Индийская криптобиржа WazirX заявила об отмене открытых ордеров на своей платформе. Согласно релизу, этот шаг является частью усилий компании по решению проблемы с балансами рупии и криптоактивов.

В публикации указано, что все средства, зарезервированные для выполнения ордеров, будут возвращены на кошельки. Также в компании поблагодарили пользователей за терпение и поддержку.

В комментариях под публикацией пользователи потребовали от биржи опубликовать отчет о резервах. В частности, сообщество интересует структура пула оставшихся после взлома криптоактивов.

Weird that this was not done during maintenance, also when will you actually address community request for transparency report – something community has been asking for since a month.

Тут предположили, что WazirX не смогла бы выполнить некоторые или все ордеры, чем и была продиктована их отмена.

Криптобиржа пострадала от взлома в середине июля 2024 года. Ущерб от него составил около $235 млн. Чуть менее половины от этой суммы приходится на токены Shiba Inu (SHIB).

После этого платформа закрыла торговлю и приостановила вывод. При этом снять средства со счета на бирже нельзя до сих пор.

Это не первое спорное решение WazirX, которое вызвало возмущение у аудитории. Ранее биржа представила «стратегию социализированных убытков», фактически переложив финансовые потери на пользователей.

Также платформа отменила все сделки после 18 июля 2024 года. Этот шаг заявлялся как стремление обеспечить всем пользователям равные условия.
