Research firm K33 has tied the pattern to Strategy’s perpetual preferred stock, STRC, which has become a key source of liquidity for the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder. The instrument pays dividends at month-end, but investors must own the shares by the 15th to qualify for the payout.

That deadline has turned the middle of each month into a predictable window of demand. Investors buy STRC ahead of the cutoff, driving up its trading volume, and the stock moves back toward its $100 par value.

The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance has published its first-ever report from its Privacy Working Group, titled “State of Privacy on Ethereum for Enterprise.” The document is designed as a practical resource for organizations trying to figure out whether Ethereum’s technology can meet their privacy, regulatory, and fiduciary standards.

The report is the product of three months of collaboration among seven EEA member organizations. The core problem the EEA identified is straightforward: privacy technologies exist, but businesses lack a systematic framework to assess them. That disconnect has become increasingly expensive as projects try to move from experimentation to production-grade deployments.

The EEA’s report attempts to provide a framework, a systematic methodology that lets organizations compare privacy approaches against their specific operational and regulatory requirements. Rather than prescribing a single solution, the report maps out the landscape so that enterprises can make informed decisions based on their own constraints.

The timing isn’t accidental. Data protection authorities around the world have been tightening the screws on how organizations handle sensitive information. The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation remains a key enforcement framework, with similar frameworks proliferating globally. The report also references the UK Data Protection Act as part of the regulatory backdrop enterprises must navigate.

Bitcoin price surged toward $82,000 as STRC’s Bitcoin buying cleared $1 billion in daily trading volume.
Bitcoin price extended its rebound on Thursday as a landmark U.S. crypto bill cleared a key Senate hurdle and Bitcoin‑linked credit products logged fresh milestones. Bitcoin price traded near $81,400 with intraday highs around $82,000, up more than 3% over the past 24 hours on more than $1 billion in spot trading volume.

The Senate Banking Committee advanced the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act on a 15–9 vote, with Sens. Ruben Gallego of Arizona and Angela Alsobrooks of Maryland joining all 13 Republicans. The bill, known as H.R. 3633, seeks a federal framework for digital asset trading, stablecoins and intermediaries, splitting oversight between the SEC and CFTC and setting registration, disclosure and compliance rules for exchanges, brokers and custodians.

Chair Tim Scott described the markup as a turning point after years in which crypto firms faced a “regulatory gray zone” under rules built for earlier markets, and framed the bill as a way to keep innovation inside the United States while tightening controls on criminal use of digital assets. Sen. Cynthia Lummis, who leads the committee’s digital assets panel, called the Clarity Act the hardest bill of her career and “a case of first impression” for fitting new software‑based assets into existing financial law.

Ranking Member Elizabeth Warren led the opposition and argued that the bill weakens securities protections, preempts state anti‑fraud rules and lets banks build large crypto exposures, which she linked to pre‑2008 risk patterns.

XRP Looks Strong for a $17 Bull Run, Could Challenge Ethereum — Financial Analyst

Financial analyst Celal Kucuker has made a bold price prediction for $XRP, suggesting a double-digit outlook that could rival Ethereum in market rankings.

In a recent post on X, Kucuker said $XRP’s chart structure looks “so strong” that a major breakout could be ahead. He added that $XRP could eventually compete with Ethereum by market capitalization if the rally plays out as expected.

He urged followers to bookmark the tweet and revisit it in the future, adding, “Time will make everything clear.”

Notably, the prediction comes as $XRP continues to hold above key support levels despite market volatility. $XRP is currently trading at $1.46, up 2.5% over the past 24 hours and nearly 6% over the last seven days. Its market capitalization now stands at around $90 billion.

For $XRP to climb from $1.46 to $17, the asset would need to rise by roughly 1,064%. Based on $XRP’s current valuation, a move to $17 would push its market capitalization to approximately $1.05 trillion.

In other words, a move to $17 would require sustained buying pressure, major capital inflows, and a crypto bull market strong enough to support trillion-dollar valuations across multiple digital assets.

Bitcoin Relative Unrealized Loss Has Dropped To Just 8%
In its latest report, on-chain analytics firm Glassnode has discussed the latest trend in the Relative Unrealized Loss of Bitcoin. This indicator keeps track of the total amount of unrealized loss held by the BTC investors as a percentage of the market cap.

Below is the chart shared by Glassnode that shows the trend in the metric for BTC over the last few cycles.

As is visible in the graph, the Bitcoin Relative Unrealized Loss shot up to a notable level alongside the price plunge in early February, indicating that pain among investors saw a sharp uptick. With the recovery that has followed since then, however, the indicator’s value has gone down.

Today, the Relative Unrealized Loss for the network stands at approximately 8%. The report described this decline in the metric as “a transition that shifts the prevailing sentiment from fear toward uncertainty rather than capitulation.”

Earlier, when the indicator had spiked, its value reached a high of 25%. This means that the February crash had meant that investor losses ballooned to 25% of the entire market cap of the cryptocurrency. This is a notable amount on its own, but a quick look at the chart shows that the level is in fact significantly lower than highs seen during previous bear markets.

At present, it’s unclear which stage the current bear market is inside right now. It’s possible that the fact that the Relative Unrealized Loss hasn’t touched prior peaks yet points to the drawdown not being over. It’s also a possibility, though, that the current cycle is simply going to be different from the previous ones.
