Bitcoin Miner Poolin Files Bankruptcy, Seeks $52M Texas Asset Sale

Singapore-based Bitcoin mining company Poolin on July 22 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in New Jersey, alongside its US affiliates Lonestar Dream Inc. and Lonestar Taproot LLC. The firm is also looking for court approval for a $52 million sale of its Texas mining properties.

The bankruptcy filing comes nearly four years after Poolin froze customer withdrawals, leaving thousands of wallet users with IOU tokens and turning a mining business failure into a long-running creditor dispute.

Court records filed in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey show Poolin listed between 10,001 and 25,000 creditors, with petition assets estimated between $1 million and $10 million.

Chief Restructuring Officer Michael DuFrayne's declaration placed prepetition obligations at about $173.1 million, with roughly $163.7 million tied to unsecured IOUs issued to Poolin Wallet customers.

The company's current bankruptcy case is focused on selling its Texas assets rather than rebuilding its mining operations. Lonestar Dream stopped mining and hosting activities at its Pyote and Tarbush sites on July 10, according to the filing documents.

Poolin has entered asset purchase agreements with Thor CALAP LLC for a combined $52 million stalking-horse bid. The offer includes $15 million for the Pyote property and associated power rights and equipment, plus $37 million for Tarbush power rights and equipment. The deal remains subject to competing bids and court anprovals

Continued support above the trendline could allow XRP price to return toward $1.20. Stronger buying pressure could then produce a new short term high between $1.20 and $1.30The trendline remains the key part of this setup. A clear break below it would weaken the bullish structure and could send XRP toward $1.008.

Further selling below $1.008 would expose the next major support near $0.90. That lower target may become more likely if Bitcoin falls below $60,000 or regulatory concerns increase.

Current chart levels therefore create a clear divide. Support above the ascending trendline favors another recovery, although a breakdown would open the path toward deeper support.

The analyst's projection suggests the current bottoming phase could extend into late 2026. The chart places a possible low around the $45,000-$55,000 region, although the exact level and timing remain speculative.

Here’s Where XRP Price Could Go This Coming WeekXRP price gave traders very few surprises this week. The token moved within a narrow range before returning close to its opening level. However, the calm weekly performance may not last much longer.

Bitcoin remains near an important resistance zone, Ripple faces another week of regulatory uncertainty, and XRP has started forming an ascending trendline. Those factors could determine whether XRP price pushes above $1.20 or returns toward $1.00 during the coming week.

XRP began the week near $1.09 before dropping to a weekly low around $1.08. The price later recovered alongside several major cryptocurrencies and reached approximately $1.16.

That recovery proved difficult to maintain. XRP declined again and returned to roughly $1.09, leaving the token almost unchanged from where it opened the week.The movement revealed 2 important price levels. Buyers continued defending the area near $1.08, although XRP struggled to remain above the $1.15 resistance.

A stronger move outside that range could decide where XRP price goes next.
