Bitcoin price prediction: Why $61k and $67k are BTC’s key levels to watch



Bitcoin [$BTC] managed to push higher to $66,956 on Tuesday, July 21. The bulls were met with rejection back then, but the pullback only reached the $63.9k area before climbing back toward $65k.

Since October, the foremost crypto has been in a bearish swing structure on the 1-day timeframe. This situation has not changed yet.

Bearish ETF flows at the end of the previous week signaled a potential sentiment shift. The funding rates remained positive, and the long volume in the derivatives market slightly outnumbered the short positions.

Selling pressure from miners was down, and it was trading within a rising channel, AMBCrypto reported. Whale accumulation from centralized exchanges also pointed toward a bullish long-term outlook for investors.

Canara Bank Targets Up to $2.5 Billion in Foreign Currency Deposits Under RBI's FCNR(B) Window



Canara Bank is targeting $2.3 billion to $2.5 billion in foreign currency fundraising through FCNR(B) deposits and overseas borrowings. 

The bank has targeted to raise $1.3-$1.5 billion through FCNR(B) deposits by September 2026, and the rest will come through ECBs and OFCBs. The bank has already raised about $775 million via the FCNR(B) window and mobilized nearly Rs. 7,300 crore through the scheme in July.

The fundraising drive comes after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) lifted the interest rate cap on fresh FCNR(B) deposits with a tenure of three to five years. The special deposit window is open until September 30, 2026, and banks can increase overseas borrowings as per RBI's guidelines till 31st December 2026.

Hong Kong’s central bank is sounding the alarm on quantum computing.

On Monday, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) published a whitepaper on the banking sector’s readiness for the quantum era, complete with its first Quantum Preparedness Index reading.

The score? A dismal 2.3 out of 10.

At that level, the territory’s banking industry is just figuring out the risks posed by the technology even as many security experts warn that the quantum age is already knocking on the door.

The whitepaper, unveiled at the eighth FiNETech conference and based on a survey conducted earlier this year, shows awareness is starting to build, but actual preparation is lagging.

Bitcoin Price Prediction: Schwab’s Jim Ferraioli Explains His $95,000 Estimate

Bitcoin may be trading above what some investors expected this year, but according to Charles Schwab’s Head of Crypto Research, Jim Ferraioli, its “fair value” could actually be closer to $95,000.

Ferraioli said his valuation is based primarily on Bitcoin’s mining economics, rather than short-term market sentiment.

Why $95,000?

“If you were to say what’s the fair value for Bitcoin at these levels, I think it’s probably about $95,000.” He said. 

He explained that the most efficient Bitcoin miners currently produce BTC at a cost of around $60,000, while less efficient miners are closer to $95,000. Drawing a comparison with traditional commodity markets, Ferraioli said that producers generally operate on relatively thin margins, making production costs a useful benchmark for estimating fair value.

Notably, the lower mining-cost estimate of around $60,000 represents a potential fundamental support zone. This level also lines up with Bitcoin’s 200-week moving average, which has recently been around the $60,000–$62,000 range.

He also clarified that the figure isn’t a price target, but rather a valuation based on the economics of Bitcoin production.

Seasonal Weakness Still in Play

Ferraioli pointed out that the crypto market is currently in a seasonally weaker period, often referred to as “Bitcoin winter.” However, he added that risk assets have historically performed better toward the end of the year, leaving room for a potential year-end rally if market conditions improve.

While Ferraioli said it’s impossible to predict whether Bitcoin will reach $95,000 in the next six months, he said several catalysts that could support higher prices.
