Shiba Inu (SHIB) has encountered a pullback after a brief rally, currently hovering around $0.000008443. The meme coin had shown a positive surge earlier, reaching a high of $0.000008731, but the recent price movement indicates a retreat.


SHIB has experienced a 2.8% decline over the last 24 hours. With a market cap nearing $5 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of over $113 million, Shiba Inu’s market activity is still considerably sufficient.


As it retreats, SHIB is now testing lower support levels, where the next potential floor could be around the $0.00000838 region. Traders are closely watching whether this support can hold, which could trigger a potential reversal for another bullish attempt. Ultimately, Shiba Inu’s ability to maintain this crucial support level will likely determine its short-term direction.


The Shiba Inu chart from TradingView reveals key support and resistance levels that traders should closely monitor. Currently, the Supertrend indicator is providing crucial support, as it sits below the price action at $0.000007540. However, if SHIB falls below this level, further downside could emerge. On the resistance side, Shiba Inu is encountering significant pressure at $0.000009546, where the Supertrend line above is indicating a bearish trend.


The red cloud in the Supertrend suggests that the price could face difficulty breaking above this resistance without a strong push. If Shiba Inu can break above this level, it could lead to a bullish breakout, targeting higher resistance levels.

Bitcoin Profit Cycle Turns Negative for First Time Since 2023: CryptoQuant
Bitcoin holders are crossing a psychological threshold not seen in over two years, transitioning from booking profits to losses.

The net realized profit/loss, which captures the aggregate gain or loss investors lock in when they move coins on-chain, has slipped into negative territory, suggesting widespread loss-taking is underway.

“This is the first time holders realized net losses in a 30-day period since October 2023,” analysts at CryptoQuant stated in a Thursday report.

Bitcoin tourists are cutting losses,” Ki Young Ju, founder of CryptoQuant, tweeted Thursday, suggesting that short-term holders are selling their holdings by booking losses.

It signals a potential inflection point from the bull market that began in late 2023, providing a critical on-chain health check for investors gauging market strength.

Cumulative net realized losses over the period total approximately 69,000 BTC. With Bitcoin down nearly 1% to $89,700, per CoinGecko, these losses amount to $6.18 billion.

Regardless, the divergence is stark when compared to earlier market highs.

The March 2024 price peak saw 1.2 million BTC in realized profit, but by October 2025, even as Bitcoin climbed to a new all-time high of $124,774, that figure had fallen to 331,000 BTC.

“Net realized losses are also tracking similar levels and patterns to March 2022, by which point the bear market was already underway,” the CryptoQuant report said, adding that “declining net realized profits indicate a loss of strength in the price of Bitcoin.”

The decline is not necessarily a signal of an impending downturn, Sean Dawson, head of research at on-chain options platform Derive, told Decrypt.

Bitcoin corporate treasury pioneer Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR), formerly MicroStrategy, has hit a key ‘healthy’ milestone in its capital-raising structure.

The firm’s preferred stocks ($8.36 billion) have, for the first time, surpassed its total convertible debt ($8.21 billion).

For the unfamiliar, convertible debt is like a loan with a maturity date and bankruptcy risk if one defaults.

This has been Strategy’s key capital-raising tool from 2020 to 2023, and the risk could escalate during major BTC drawdowns. This debt risk factor has hung over the Strategy, especially ahead of the 2028 maturity deadline.

But the firm unveiled several preferred stocks, to complement its common stock, MSTR, to raise capital for BTC buys.

Preferred stocks vs. MSTR
Preferred stocks, on the other hand, offer a flexible capital-raising option, and payable dividends (not interest) can be deferred because they have no maturity date like convertible debt.

In other words, with no fixed maturity and repayment, it reduces the bankruptcy risk even during major BTC downturns, noted analyst Pio Vincenzo.

“This is a huge milestone for MSTR. It validates the preferred equity strategy and the transition away from convertible debt. The old strategy had an actual bankruptcy risk.”

Chaintany Jain, an official at Strategy, also hailed the shift as more ‘scalable’ than the old convertible debt.

For his part, analyst Rohan Hirani noted that the heavy reliance on preferred stocks would help Strategy ‘dismantle’ the bankruptcy-linked vulnerability, allowing the firm to increase its BTC bet.

Others viewed the shift as a ‘structural win’ and a ‘bullish path’ for MSTR stock price.
