Attackers reportedly gained control of the site’s DNS settings and injected malicious code that caused wallet-draining prompts to appear for visitors.
According to early reports, the attackers deployed a sophisticated phishing overlay designed to look like legitimate transaction requests. The prompts attempted to trick users into approving actions such as “set authority” or “transfer” permissions—moves that could give attackers control over their wallets.
