High Roller Stock More Than Doubles After Prediction Market Deal With Crypto.com
Shares of High Roller Technologies (ROLR) surged after the company announced plans to launch a U.S. prediction market in partnership with Crypto.com.
The Las Vegas-based operator said it will initially offer event-based contracts through Crypto.com Derivatives North America, covering areas such as finance, sports, and entertainment. The platform is registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), though no official launch date has been confirmed.
Following the announcement, High Roller shares jumped as much as 130% before settling about 65% higher at $8.32. Meanwhile, Cronos, the native token linked to Crypto.com, rose around 3% to $0.07.
Prediction markets have rapidly evolved from niche betting platforms into a fast-growing financial sector that allows users to trade probabilities of real-world events. Major players include Kalshi and Polymarket, which cover topics ranging from politics and economics to sports.
High Roller estimates the sector could eventually grow into a $1 trillion+ annual trading market by 2030.
According to a recent report from U.S. bank Citizens, prediction markets are already generating over $3 billion in annualized revenue, up from about $2 billion in December, and could reach $10 billion by the end of the decade.

The global banking giant has successfully completed a pilot project centered around its Tokenised Deposit Service (TDS) on the Canton [CC] network. What stands out here is that these tokenised deposits are not stablecoins. 

Instead, they represent traditional cash converted into a digital format. According to AMBCrypto, understanding this distinction is key to grasping why HSBC’s move matters. For starters, the pilot marks the first time the bank deployed its TDS on blockchain, setting a benchmark for other financial institutions.

With 780,897 BTC in Strategy’s wallets, its holdings alone account for about 3.9% of the entire circulating supply of the cryptocurrency. This makes it by far the largest public holder of BTC.
