Market analyst Luke Suther is making the case that XRP has been misunderstood all along, and that the real story has nothing to do with competing against Bitcoin (BTC) or gold. He laid out his vision for where XRP fits in an increasingly fragmented global financial system. His argument centers on a simple but often overlooked distinction between storing value and moving it.

Suther pointed to the ongoing shift toward a multipolar world order, where no single nation dominates global trade and finance the way the United States (US) has for decades. In this world, he noted that gold would make a comeback, recognized once again as a top-tier collateral under Basel III banking regulations. He highlighted that the precious metal will also be prized for its hardness, neutrality, and universal trust.

However, Suther emphasized that gold has a major limitation that most people miss. He argued that while gold can anchor a reserve system and operate as a store of value, it cannot move at internet speed. Capital in a multipolar world needs to cross borders instantly, without friction, and without running through dollar-dominated infrastructure. For this to happen, the analyst noted that a digital bridge is required. He described this digital bridge as XRP, noting that the cryptocurrency was designed to address the settlement inefficiencies that gold currently faces.

Hoskinson Warns CLARITY Act Makes New Tokens Securities by Default

Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Cardano, has strongly criticized the proposed CLARITY Act, calling it a “horrific, trash bill” and a potentially damaging piece of legislation for the US crypto industry.

Speaking during a livestream, he highlighted the divisions within the crypto community regarding how the US should handle digital asset rules.

Hoskinson’s main concern is with how the CLARITY Act defines and regulates crypto. He says if the bill passes as is, it could trap almost every new project in a regulatory catch-22, defaulting them to security status and putting them under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) thumb.

He added that the bill could give the SEC prolonged control over new projects, potentially forcing them to launch overseas, which would kill US innovation and make the country less competitive.

Hoskinson also said that one of the biggest problems is that this bill could put new projects automatically into an investment contract category. He warned the bill would make following the rules nearly impossible, as it basically represents a weaponized setup aimed at killing off new crypto projects before they start.

Cardano’s co-founder pointed out that big names like Cardano or XRP might survive, but anything new would have to launch outside the US or just never get built.

The CLARITY Act tries to split crypto oversight between the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). If a token is decentralized enough, it gets treated as a digital commodity under the CFTC. If not, it stays under the SEC’s watch.

После кратковременного бычьего тренда на криптовалютных графиках в торговых моделях цифровых активов появились позитивные тенденции. Принесет ли недавний рост дополнительный импульс и обеспечит ли устойчивое восходящее движение? Биткоин (BTC) и Эфириум (ETH) стремятся выйти из обширного и доминирующего медвежьего рынка. Одновременно с этим, XDC Network (XDC) зафиксировал рост стоимости на 3,15%.

Максимальный и максимальный торговые диапазоны актива находятся в пределах $0,03171 и $0,03523 соответственно. На момент написания статьи XDC Network торгуется в зоне $0,03456, а его рыночная капитализация составляет $689,24 млн. Кроме того, согласно данным CMC, ежедневный объем торгов XDC вырос более чем на 16,19%, достигнув отметки в $25,81 млн.

Если цена торговой пары XDC/USDT продолжит расти, она столкнется с сопротивлением на уровне около $0,03477.  При дальнейшем росте быки могут укрепить свои позиции и поднять цену актива выше $0,03498. Across the completed cycle, investors received 20 on-chain coupon payments totaling more than $1.1 million, according to the companies involved.
Bitfinex Securities announced Monday it will resume issuing tokenizedbonds for Luxembourg-based securitization fund ALTERNATIVE, with future sales expected to exceed $10 million. The bonds are denominated in USDT and will be issued and settled on the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain, with fundraising, coupon payments, and principal repayments all executed on-chain.

The relaunch follows four prior bond issuances since 2023 that raised a combined $6.2 million. Three of those offerings have since matured and been fully repaid. Across the completed cycle, investors received 20 on-chain coupon payments totaling more than $1.1 million, according to the companies involved. The bonds provide exposure to emerging-market privatecredit, including financing for small and medium-sized businesses and women-led enterprises.

Jesse Knutson, head of operations at Bitfinex, said that buyers have primarily been high-net-worth crypto investors and crypto-focused institutions from Europe and Asia seeking yield on their $USDT holdings. "There's been a lot of discussion this year around yield-generating stablecoins. This product offers a solution with an easy, regulated and established vehicle for earning yield on $USDT balances," Knutson said.

Bitfinex Securities holds operating licenses in the Astana International Financial Centre in Kazakhstan and in El Salvador. The platform manages issuance, listing, and secondary trading, while Tether's Hadron platform handles token management. The platform currently lists approximately $250 million in regulated tokenized securities.
